What does SEO mean to me?

Welcome to my personal SEO blog-page. This is where I share my personal experiences about online marketing, social media marketing and search engine optimization. On this blog, I will be writing about my experiences in and outside of the office and keeping it more open for sharing ideas. Why? Blogging and content in general should always be natural and nothing is more pleasing to Google than original content. So, let us start from the beginning and go over what does SEO mean, shall we?

What does SEO mean?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It involves the correction of content on your website to make it more search engine friendly. This includes but not limited to: tagging, url/website address correction (ex:

mywebsite.com/xyz, correct way: mywebsite/com/home), scanning for broken links, backlink building, and coming up with content that contains your chosen keywords with keeping in mind keyword density. These are just some of the examples of SEO work. Please keep in mind that Google does not see JavaScript. The Google crawler scans first and foremost through CSS & HTML. It wants to go through your website as quickly as possible. Broken links and images will get your website ranked down if you do not fix them in a timely manner.

Why do I like this type of work?

Coming up with original, exciting, and organic content is the primary reason why SEO attracts me. The power of new content and social media online has never been stronger. Seeing stats skyrocket and attracting new customers/clients, views, members, etc is like a passion to me. Making my writing understood and having the message delivered in an efficient manner matters the most to me.
